Bear Kirkpatrick

Born in the deep South, raised in Spanish Harlem in New York and a farm in New Hampshire, Bear has been working in the arts his whole life.

Earning degrees from the University of Michigan in literary and visual arts, and an MFA in literature, poetry, and the visual arts, Bear has published short stories in national and international literary magazines, wrote a screenplay that was produced and shown at the NY and Los Angeles film festivals, designed and built custom furniture for Bono and Adam Clayton, has shown his photo and video work in solo exhibitions in Boston, New York, and San Diego.

For the past 15 years he has been the chief installer of Robert Wilson’s video art works in museums, galleries, and the homes of private collectors. For the past 10 years he has been the producer, co-developer, and co-creator of Mr. Wilson’s video works.
